Tyler Mae Pitrat, AG Lands Southwest

A fourth-generation Arizonan with deep roots in the state’s land and legacy, Tyler Mae Pitrat brings a unique blend of her legal background, ranching experience, and local insight to every real estate transaction.

Born into a farming family and raised with a love for open spaces, Tyler fell in love with northern Arizona when her grandparents moved to a small ranch up north. It was there—riding with neighboring ranch kids and working alongside seasoned ranch hands—that her passion for the land and its people took hold.

Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from Arizona State University and earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University. She is licensed to practice law in both Arizona and Texas and has built a diverse legal career—from in-house counsel in Texas to civil work and prosecution in Arizona.

Even throughout her legal career, Tyler never strayed far from her roots, and spent the last 15 years intermittently day-working for ranchers across both states. In a full-circle moment, she took a sabbatical from the law to care for her grandmother and soon found herself stepping up as foreman on a working cow-calf operation.

That hands-on leadership experience reinforced her practical knowledge of Arizona land, livestock, and the challenges rural property owners face. Today, Tyler continues to take a break from the law, and lives and works full-time on a large cattle ranch in northern Arizona with her partner, Matt Cometh.

Whether she’s in the saddle or helping clients navigate land and property decisions, Tyler brings grit, integrity, and firsthand knowledge to every relationship. Tyler blends legal insight, ranching experience, and deep local knowledge to bring clients a boots-on-the-ground perspective in every deal.

If you’re looking for someone who has a passion for Arizona agriculture land Tyler is ready to help you find your place in the West.
