Mark Menges is a 5th generation cattleman who owns and operates his ranch in Mule Creek, New Mexico along side his wife, daughter and boys. Mark also manages the Four Bar ranch in Greenlee County, AZ.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness Economics & Management with an emphasis in Agricultural Business Management from The University of Arizona and a Certificate in Performance Leadership from Cornell University. Mark grew up splitting his time between on ranches in northern and eastern Arizona as well as western New Mexico.
Some of his most cherished memories from his childhood are working alongside and learning the ranching business from his father- Jeff Menges, and grandfathers – Bob Cloudt and Raymond Howard.
Mark has deep roots in the ranching industry as his mom’s (Christie Howard) family ranched throughout Arizona for generations and his Dad’s family ranched in western New Mexico. Mark’s parents met when his Dad’s family had the Four Drag ranch and his mom’s father – Raymond ran the Double Circles along upper Eagle Creek north of Morenci.
Mark has cattle ranching in his blood and is grateful for every opportunity he has to carry on the generational heritage. Mark has spent much of his adult life ranching, hunting and working in the construction industry.
In construction, he primarily worked as a project engineer and region sales manager in the aggregate and asphalt markets of southern Arizona. Mark gained extensive and invaluable experience from the construction industry in project management, sales, contract negotiation and leadership.
Beyond the Cornell leadership program, the construction industry provided Mark the opportunity to attend multiple Extreme Ownership leadership workshops and a Muster, the Sandler Sales Training, and be a part of Arizona Rock Products Association’s Future Leaders program – Class 5.
Mark is married to Kambrah Menges (Stacy) whose family has ranched in the rugged mountains of eastern Arizona for generations. Today, Mark and Kambrah take every opportunity to help on Kambrah’s family ranch located along Blue River south of Alpine, AZ. Mark is passionate about all things cattle, natural resource management and rural land investments.
